Dhal of Coral Lentils and Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 big Potatoes
  • 1 box Crushed tomatoes
  • 150 g Coral lentils
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small Red pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • 20 cl Coconut milk
  • 1 C. soup Powdered curry
  • 1 C. coffee 4 spices
  • 1 C. coffee Turmeric
  • Some strands Coriander
  • Peanut oil
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Start this recipe of potato and coral lentil dahl by peeling and chopping garlic and onion. Rinse, seed and chop the chilli. Peel, rinse and cut the potatoes into tiny cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onion, garlic, chilli and all spices for 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Add lentils, coconut milk, tomatoes, a little salt and cover with water. Let simmer 30 min.
  3. Rectify seasoning as needed, add lime juice and serve with coriander, basmati rice and Indian flatbreads.
