Korean Pancake with Mushrooms (Beoseot-jeon)

Ingredients

 

For 1 big cake:

  • 400 g Mushrooms to choose from
  • 200 g Wheat flour
  • 20 cl Water
  • 50 g Spring onion
  • 50 g Grated carrot
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil

For the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp. soup Soya sauce
  • 1/2 c. soup Rice vinegar

Korean Pancake with Mushrooms (Beoseot-jeon)

Instructions

  1. Start this Korean slab recipe by slicing the mushrooms into 3-m slices. Cut the spring onion every 4 cm. Mix the flour, water, spring onion, carrot and half of the mushrooms. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Oil a heated skillet over medium heat, spread out the dough quickly, put on slices of mushrooms. Press them firmly with a spatula. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, turn the cake over and cook until golden brown. Cut it in parts and serve it without waiting with the sauce.
