  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 250 g Minced meat
  • 400 g Canned crushed tomato
  • 200g Carrot
  • 100g Smoked bacon
  • 2 Clove garlic
  • 2 c. coffee Tomato puree
  • 4 strands Basil
  • 50g Parmesan (or pecorino)
  • 2 c. soup Sunflower oil
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Peel and finely chop the onions and carrots. Peel and grate or squeeze the garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions and carrots for 7-8 min over a low heat, without allowing to color. Add the garlic, stir well. Add the bacon, brown 2-3 min.
  3. Add the meat and brown it over high heat, stirring well so that it comes off without clumping. When it starts to lightly brown, add the crushed tomatoes, the tomato puree, the basil leaves and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.
  4. Meanwhile, start cooking the pasta: boil a large amount of water. Salt (at least 5 g per liter) and cook them al dente. Drain and serve with the sauce and freshly grated Parmesan or pecorino.
