Grilled Tofu Skewers with Carrot Puree and Apple Sticks

Ingredients

  • 800 g Firm tofu
  • 750 g carrots
  • 2 Royal type gala apples
  • 2 Green lemons
  • 2 Onions new
  • 1 Small red pepper
  • 1 small bouquet Coriander
  • 1 cube Vegetables soup
  • 2 tbsp. soup Golden sesame
  • 5 cl Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Start this tofu kebab and mashed potato recipe by peeling and slicing the carrots. Put them in a saucepan, cover with cold water, salt, add the bouillon cube. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes.
  2. When the carrots are cooked, drain them and mix them by adding a little boil , until the desired consistency. Add a drizzle of olive oil, season. Book warm.
  3. Wash and cut apples into thin sticks. Rinse and thin the coriander. Chop it half. Wash, seed and chop the chilli. Peel and chop the onions. In a bowl, mix the chopped coriander, chilli, onion, sesame, lime juice and 5 cl of oil. Season and reserve.
  4. Preheat a grill, griddle or pan. Cut the tofu into cubes and put them on skewers. Season and oil them lightly. Put the skewers on the grill and brown them for about 10 minutes, turning them regularly.
  5. Spread the carrot puree and skewers on the plates. Add the apple and some coriander leaves. Sprinkle with sauce and serve.
