NOTES

  • Hershey’s makes its cocoa powder in two varieties. You can choose between Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Powder and Special Dark Cocoa Powder. Both varieties contain 100 percent pure cocoa, but Hershey’s processes the Special Dark with alkali.
  • ‘Sweetened Condensed Milk’ and ‘Condensed Milk’ are exactly the same product. ‘Sweetened Condensed Milk’ and ‘Condensed Milk’ are both up to 40% sugar by volume. Evaporated milk contains NO added sugar.
  • Substitute for sweetened condensed milk is Cream of Coconut (using a 1:1 ratio.) Cream of Coconut works well as a sweetened condensed milk alternative, and can offer a wonderful tropical flavor to your desserts.
  • Skor Bits have a buttery toffee taste that will add a deliciously sweet flavor to any baked good recipe.
