Sweet and Spicy Chicken Sliders

Those sweet and spicy fowl Sliders are ideal for lunch, dinner, parties, or sport day. total crowd-pleaser! For those of you who aren’t paying attention (or don’t care), you have to humor me. Baseball and tennis are virtually the best  sports activities I care approximately, so i have to talk approximately the upcoming world collection for a few minutes. as it’s thrilling! The Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians are going to the show.


I’m hoping for a complete seven-recreation collection because i love a competitive showdown. however i am rooting for the Cubs to take home the trophy. And at the same time as we’re cheering them on, we’ll be stuffing our faces with those candy and spicy bird Sliders. game day food at its nice – win or lose! So enjoy !

Ingredients

  • 12 (3-inch) rolls, split in half
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
  • 1 can (8 ounce) pineapple tidbits, drained, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  •  2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  •  1/2 teaspoon black pepper

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Coat a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Lay backside halves of the rolls in the dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine barbeque sauce, mayonnaise, bird, pineapple, and jalapeños. Spoon an even combination onto the roll bottoms; sprinkle with the Monterey Jack cheese. location the roll tops on the cheese.
  3. In a large measuring cup, whisk together the butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper; pour over the sliders.
  4. cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 mins. discover and bake for another 15 minutes till cheese is melted and sliders are warmed thru.
  5. Serve warm with chips or pickles and enjoy!
